i bought a new bike yesterday and i'm thrilled with it! it's a cruiser bike and it's so comfortable and easy to ride. i got it yesterday at about 2pm and i didn't stop riding it around the city until close to midnight! of course i chained it up when i went barhopping. kids - i don't recommend drinking and biking! -_^

i got a sunburn yesterday! my first sunburn of the season, which means i need to pull out the 238472983 SPF sunblock! my fair irish skin can't handle the sun. poor me!

i realized i haven't written in here in a while, and i apologize. things are just very busy with moving and work and stuff, that i have been swamped. i don't have the internet at home yet, but in about a week i should. i ended up buying an iMac off of ebay and the guy totally screwed me over. he sent a really, really old computer that wasn't what i paid for...

soooo... i'm filing all the proper paypal/ebay claims and trying to get my $170 back. i could use that money to get another computer.

i move into my new place on the 25th, and i'm really excited! i love it. i am going to have a bbq maybe the next weekend after i move in and invite all my friends.

i will have pics of the new place soon... along with pics of my new 3 cats!

So I haven't written in this journal in a while, so I'll update some of you with what is happening in the life of Kelly!

- Mike and I are still broken up, yet somehow still living together.
- I'm moving out, though, June 1st into a big house in Georgetown!!!
- I'm going to see The Pipettes June 2nd!
- I really like my new room mate.
- I have been hitting the sauce a little too much lately.
- I have yet to take the tests I need to take to enroll in college... :/
- I went to the zoo today!
- My legs hurt :(

I'm sure there is more, but that is just what is going on in my brain right now. Mike is in Texas at the moment and he's coming back tomorrow. Then it's back to non-stop bickering and fighting until I GTFO of here!

I am very happy because I'm going to be moving to Georgetown. WOO!

Hello ladies. I haven't written here in a little while. Things are kind of stressful at the moment. I'm going insane, really. Dealing with this break up and moving and blah blah blah. Sometimes all I want is to sleep non-stop. Not good, I know :/

hello friends. i just want to let you know that i probably will not being making graphics for some time. my boyfriend and i are breaking up (we live together) and the computer that i use was his, so he's taking it when we move out. hopefully within a few months, i'll be able to get a new computer or laptop, and i'll back on top of my game, but for now, i'm going to have to go on hiatus.

Anyway, things are going pretty good. A lot better. Things have been getting progressively better.

But... is this just the calm before the storm, so to speak? Hmm...

My father is mailing to me my documents that I need to begin college this summer, and I'm so excited! For those of you who don't know, my boss has offered to pay for me to go to college! How fabulous is that? Anyway, I used my dad's address (he's in Maryland) so I could go to a Maryland college (Montgomery College) instead of one in DC. So now all I gotta do is take the placement tests (which I'm kind of nervous about) and decide what I want to "be when I grow up."

I'm feeling a little bit better lately. Although I've been taking everyone's advice and eating LOTS of junk food. I guess that I'll be really fat by the end of this whole ordeal. D:

Anyway, I don't really have much to say. I just wanted a reason to show off this cute icon. Hmm.

I am so broke. I just paid rent and have literally $0 left to my name. I am so happy I get paid the day before I leave for San Francisco. How much of a bummer would it be to go to JAPANTOWN without any freakin' money!?
